I received this award from very talented artist/illustrator, Nina Crittendon who has a great blog site.
Thank you Nina, how nice of you. I have only had a blog for a couple months but I shall accept this award and try to keep blogging. I guess there are a few rules. One is to send this off to 5 bloggers, I would but I am so new at this I don't know 5 other than the 5 Nina passed the award onto. I would imagine it will be different next year at this time. The second one is to name 7 random things about myself. Here goes:

1. I LOVE Downton Abbey and can not wait for Masterpiece Theater Sunday nights.
2. I have a sock monkey I swear talks to me, in a good way. He is not scary at all. I totally respect his advice. :o)
3. I freeze when taking tests. A real bummer in high school.
4. Right now I prefer to read YA novels. I recently finished "The Hunger Game" trilogy.
5. One of my favorite songs 35 years ago was "Popsicle Toes" by Michael Franks.
6. I feel I would have done very well at Hogwarts.
7. My favorite reality show is Project Runway. Right now the All Stars are competing, there are quite a few divas. Love it.

I think I followed the rules as best I could. Thanks again Nina!

(Yesterday I went shoe shopping with my daughter Lindsey, I found these real cute shoes that has a little bling on them.) Gee, I wonder what's in the that darling present? Hmmmm....we'll see.

I got a real cute rubber stamp of a little hippo, (thank you Nancy) the first thing I thought when I saw it was....and the hippo jumped over the moon. So here it is.

I feel this is a happy little picture and a nice way to start the New Year.

Happy Holidays! I thought Stella needed to be in color for this post. We will hear her coming and going with the little bell bracelet. Even tho Stella is very very large she is the most gentle and best dressed stegosaurus I know.

When visiting my friend (Kay Elliott, author of "The Sundogs") you are greeted by Zeke and Juno, they are very big dogs and they are soooooooooo loveable. OK maybe I am exaggerating just a little bit on their size, but they do take up the entire entry. Btw, the book "Sundogs" will be coming out early next year, Zeke and Juno(Bo) will be making their debut along with Harley, Susu and Yogi. It is a delightful story illustrated by moi.

Hi I'm back, it has been awhile, guess I was too tired from the Thanksgiving preparations and clean up. I went shopping the day after Thanksgiving with friends Nancy and Kate in Excelsior. The accessories Stella is wearing is a small sample of the days findings. Check in tomorrow for another great purchase.

Today I could not think of anything to post. I didn't know what to do.

So I went for a nice long walk on this beautiful fall blustery day. While on my walk I thought, hey, why not draw how it feels to be stuck?

So I took charge and got my self unstuck. I hope not to do anymore 'stuck' drawings this month. Ohhh what am I going to do tomorrow?

This little guy was in my dream the other night, he was playing in a lady's house and she was not happy about it, saying this creature was bothersome and would like for it to leave. I thought it was so cute and cuddly, why would anyone want this little guy to leave?

Last night in my dreams a red dragon with glasses came to visit. I wondered what it meant, as I was scanning the drawing I remembered I ordered new glasses this morning and according to Chinese Astrology I was born in the year of the Dragon. :o)
